These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Cliniqo website, mobile apps and related services (together, the "Platform"), operated by SAFF ("Cliniqo", "we", "us" or "our"). By creating an account or using the Platform, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.
1. About Cliniqo
Cliniqo is a technology platform that helps patients find clinics and doctors, book appointment slots and check in at the clinic using a QR code. It also provides tools that clinics and doctors use to manage their appointments.
Cliniqo is not a healthcare provider. We do not give medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. All medical services are provided by the independent clinics and doctors listed on the Platform, who are responsible for the care they provide.
2. Eligibility and accounts
- You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. Minors can be booked for by a parent or lawful guardian.
- You sign in with a one-time password (OTP) sent to your registered email or phone. You are responsible for keeping access to your account secure.
- You must give accurate, current information and update it when it changes.
- We may suspend or close accounts that breach these Terms or are used fraudulently.
3. Booking for family members
You may book appointments for family members. By doing so, you confirm that you are allowed to share their details with us and the clinic and that you have their consent, or, for a minor or a person unable to consent, that you are their lawful guardian.
4. Appointments
- Slot availability comes from clinics and may change. A booking is confirmed only after you receive a confirmation in the app.
- Appointment times are estimates. Delays can happen because of emergencies or clinical needs, and Cliniqo does not guarantee an exact consultation time.
- Please arrive on time and check in at reception using your booking QR code. Clinics may treat late arrivals as missed appointments.
- Bookings can be cancelled by you, by Cliniqo support, or by the clinic or hospital administrator. Doctors do not cancel bookings directly through the Platform.
5. Fees and payments
- Cliniqo charges a booking fee of ₹5 per booking during the pilot. This fee may change, and any change will be shown before you pay.
- Cliniqo does not collect any consultation, appointment or treatment fee. You pay the clinic directly at your visit, at rates set by the clinic.
- Online payments are processed by third-party payment providers. We do not store your full card or bank details.
6. No refunds
The booking fee is a charge for the booking service and is non-refundable, including when an appointment is cancelled, missed or rescheduled by anyone. Disputes about consultation fees paid to a clinic must be raised with that clinic. If you were charged in error, for example a duplicate charge caused by a technical fault, contact us and we will review it.
7. Clinics and doctors
- Clinics are reviewed by Cliniqo before they can accept bookings. This review is limited to the information provided and does not guarantee the quality of care.
- Doctors and clinics are responsible for holding valid registrations and licences and for following applicable medical laws and the National Medical Commission's ethics regulations.
- Separate agreements govern Cliniqo's relationship with clinics and its other business partners.
8. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- make fake, duplicate or speculative bookings, or hold slots you do not intend to use;
- pretend to be someone else or give false information;
- misuse QR codes, try to access other users' data, or interfere with the Platform's security;
- copy, scrape, reverse-engineer or resell the Platform;
- harass or abuse clinic staff, doctors or Cliniqo support.
9. Emergencies
Do not use Cliniqo for medical emergencies. In an emergency, call 112 or go to the nearest hospital straight away.
10. Intellectual property
The Cliniqo name, logo, apps, design and content belong to SAFF or its licensors. You receive a limited, personal, non-transferable licence to use the Platform for its intended purpose.
11. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, the Platform is provided "as is". Cliniqo is not liable for the medical services, advice, diagnosis, treatment or outcomes provided by clinics or doctors, or for indirect or consequential losses. Our total liability for any claim about the Platform is limited to the booking fees you paid Cliniqo in the three months before the claim arose.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. We will post the updated version with a new effective date and, for material changes, notify you in the app. Continuing to use the Platform after a change means you accept it.
13. Governing law and grievances
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to the grievance process below, the courts at the place of SAFF's registered office have jurisdiction.
For complaints, write to our Grievance Officer at contact@cliniqo.org. We will acknowledge your complaint within 48 hours and aim to resolve it within 15 days, in line with the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021.
